A British explorer who has discovered a part of the Great Wall, Wonders of the World was built during the Qin Shi Huang in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia territory.

William Lindesay explorers led an expedition into the Gobi Desert in late autumn last year to search for traces of the walls are broken and more than 1,000 years ago. What he found has been proved to be the remains of the Great Wall, thanks to a map from the time of Genghis Khan, the 12th century.
The Great Wall was discovered in the Gobi Desert.
This is the first Great Wall was discovered outside China. According to the atlas of the Mongolian Empire, the wall was still standing when they were drawn. It shows the time of the building collapsed on only around 1,000 years ago.
Lindesay said: "We found the sign on the wall on the second day. We found it thanks to the raised area above the ground. Following that, we found mortal shoulder-high walls and even a few hundred meters long running ". The walls he found about 62 miles long, built from the ground and branches of trees "Salsoul", a shrub common in the locality.
Lindesay explorers to China since 1986 to make the journey of 1520 miles along the ruins of the Great Wall.He also devoted energy to care about the wonders of this study and seek to preserve the wall which had not been paying attention. The search for the Great Wall of China outside Lindesay has been nurtured from 1997 when the friend showed him a map of the Genghis Khan viewfinder but until last year, the new search is performed with the directed by a professor of Dutch history.
The dose you take on the Gobi Desert, the most feared ground Mongolia with two Toyota Land Cruiser, 60 liters of petrol and 200 liters of water reserves is extremely risky. However, his discovery actually bring many surprises for historians in particular and the Great Wall enthusiasts in general.
Compared with historical documents, it was determined that land is the wall built to prevent Han army invaded Mongolia. However, it can not exist before the power of Genghis Khan's army and destroyed in the war with the Mongols for nearly a millennium ago. It would also be interesting discoveries, attracting researchers in the future.
