Small chameleon species flies only recently discovered in Madagascar. Its body length is smaller than the index finger of ordinary people.

Ted Townsend, a scientist from San Diego State University has conducted genetic experiments on this new species. He said: "The size of this species of chameleon in Madagascar may have evolved from ancestors with very small size, unlike the colorful chameleon species that we normally see."
