A strong earthquake measuring magnitude 6.6 rocked southwestern Siberia region of Russia today, that many miners are required to leave the workplace.

According to AP , there have been no reported injuries or damage after the quake, the initial intensity was measured 6.6 magnitude. Agency and the U.S. Geological Survey geologists inform Russia, the epicenter of the earthquake capital of Kyzyl Tuva Republic of Russia, about 100km to the east.
According to news agency RIA , when the earthquake occurred at 11h20 (local time) and with the epicenter located at a depth of 10km. The local people on the 9th floor of an apartment complex, said everything was shaking violently, causing the closet in the apartment collapsed. A spokesman for the Russian Emergency Ministry reported, people are warned about the game aftershocks may occur after the main earthquake and was advised to leave the house.
The news agency quoted the Russian Emergency Minister Sergei Shoigu said some miners in the coal mine in the Kemerovo region and Khakassia has been taken out of the tunnel. According to the RIA , in Kyzyl, the people in those buildings had to spend the night in schools, for fear of aftershocks game.
