Structures typical of Tibet in Lhasa valley prominent in the sky with red and white buildings impressive.
Potala Palace was first built in 637 and the Tibetan kings were restored later. Palace 400 meters wide from east to west and 350 from north to south. Wall thickness of 3 m, 5 m thick nails (can pour the concrete to the more stable in an earthquake). Works 13 floors high, with 1,000 rooms, 10,000 shrines and 200,000 statues examination.
