Agency U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on 22 / 5 has occurred an earthquake magnitude 6.1 Richter scale near Kermade islands of New Zealand, South Pacific.

There are no reports of damage or tsunami threat.
According to the USGS, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 19km, a city of about 1,000 km east of Auckland.

New Zealand lies on two tectonic regions collide and often have more than 14,000 earthquakes each year.

Meanwhile on the same day a 5.2 earthquake on the Richter scale rocked Taiwan (China) 34 am to 9 pm hour in Beijing. According to the network center of China earthquake, the epicenter of the quake lay at a depth of 10km, at 24.1 degrees north latitude and 121.7 degrees east longitude. Source: hanoimoi.com.vn
