Niall McCann, 29-year-old biologist from Cardiff (Wales), has caught the giant South American snake when it is crawling on ReWA river in Guyana. This snake has a length 5.5 m, body diameter 70 cm and weigh up to 100kg.

"I always dreamed of seeing a snake in South America and I know that our work in Guyana is a firsthand opportunity to see these species of concern. Once detected, I recorded it on the ground beheaded like wrestling, "he recalls Niall.

South America is a python python named the world's heaviest, weighing up to 250 kg. Pythons often use the power to squeeze their prey to death before swallowing. They can attack the human species, and jaguar.
