Pakistan has warned the U.S. about the possibility of losing an ally if Islamabad continues alleged double game.

This announcement came shortly after the allegations appeared Pakistan secretly supported the Haqqani terrorist network to attack military bases and U.S. embassies.
Accordingly, Admiral Mike Mullen in a speech in the Senate said that the Pakistan intelligence agency is closely associated with the Haqqani network of organizations active and most dangerous in Islamist extremist Taliban active in Afghanistan border. The admiral also accused Haqqani organized attacks on U.S. Embassy in Kabul under the support of the Pakistan military intelligence.

This is the most serious allegations against Pakistan by the U.S., making the relationship problems between the two countries are becoming ever more intact. In response to allegations, Hina Rabbani Khar Foreign Minister affirmed that the U.S. will lose an ally in the war on terror because of such allegations. "America will not be able to stick its head in Pakistan without the support of our people," he warned Khar.
In addition, Foreign Minister Khar also said that allegations of admiral on an insult to the Pakistan authorities. Mr. Khar said, "and explicitly rejected the allegations ally regardless of what problems are humiliation and not acceptable."
The relationship between the U.S. and Pakistan is in a relationship back, rely on each other.America needs Pakistan as a basis for attacking Afghanistan and parking for a fleet of unmanned aircraft armed reconnaissance area. Meanwhile, Islamabad want to rely on military assistance and economic as well as a strong supporter of Washington in the international arena.
This relationship was relatively intact by not a few cases of U.S. troops mistakenly fired on the soldiers and people of Pakistan. However, cracks appear when the official forces commandos secret U.S. helicopter deep into Pakistan territory in the campaign against Osama bin Laden, while the Pakistan army and intelligence did not know .
This is followed by the attack army barracks and U.S. Embassy in recent times, do Americans really insecure. They constantly push the Pakistani military offensive forces arrest Haqqani but unmet, making the relationship mutually severe degradation. But analysts say the move by Islamabad is completely understandable, because with 10,000 to 15,000 battle hardened soldiers, all attacks targeting Haqqani government will have to bear the consequences of troops and heavy weaponry.
