13,000 thousand riot police were deployed in the capital Dhaka in Bangladesh to deal with aggressive protests against fuel price increases.

Not only in the capital but across the country, the marches have been held consecutively, making daily life of people turned upside down, traffic congestion, schools and businesses forced to close during day 5, the last working day of week in Bangladesh.
According to authorities, the protest was opposition by the Coalition launched to protest fuel price policy of the government. The crowded streets in the capital Dhaka became deserted.
