A passenger plane had trouble landing attempt highway in northwest Russia, but the flames, leaving 44 people dead and several others seriously injured.The Tupolev Tu-134 aircraft by airlines operating RusAir attempted landing at the airport area 1km from Petrozavodsk, in the Russian Republic of Karelia.The plane was carrying 43 passengers including 9 staff and crew.Some survivors are in critical condition in hospital.
RusAir a private airline, based in Moscow and works in Western Russia and Eastern Europe.A source told the news agency Interfax that the dead bodies scattered along the road after a terrible accident happened.According to officials of the Ministry of Emergency Karelia, radio contact with pilots was cut off at 22h40 (local time) last night.There has been no explanation of the cause of the accident.
