Japanese disaster areas hit by earthquakeA strong earthquake of 6.7 magnitude rocked the region just northeast of Japan this morning and caused a tsunami warning, but was canceled about an hour.
According to Japan Meteorological Agency, this earthquake occurred at 6h51 am (local time) in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Iwate province about 47km. There has been no report on the casualties or damage.
