Police suspect fireworks are the cause of the accident continuum between 34 cars in a highway in the UK, as seven people were killed and 51 wounded.

According to AP , the initial report said that the fog and slippery roads may be the cause of the crash series. However, police have diverted investigation into a fireworks display, after evidence that witnesses saw black smoke rises in the field.
"Tu told by witnesses and evidence gathered, we believe that the cause of the accident was caused by smoke, not fog," a police official said. "The witnesses having described this smoke that they could not drive through it and was forced to brake."
