Mars probe Phobos-Ground of Russia fell to Earth at dawn today, after more than two months trapped in Earth's orbit after being launched from one of the Russian aerospace .

The Russian Defense Ministry official Alexei Zolotukhin told RIA Novosti : "Mars probe Phobos-Ground has returned to Earth and crashed into the Pacific Ocean." Accordingly, the falling debris scattered in the island area 1250 km west of Wellington. The ship fell yesterday at 21h45 hourly Russia (0h45 now Vietnam).

Russian space agency Roscosmos said, at 20h15, the ship suddenly changed altitude of 133.2 km to 113.8 km, and then begin the process falls back to earth. With more than 13 tons of the same size with 7 tons of rocket fuel stored in aluminum containers, it is one of the largest man-made objects fall to the earth indefinitely.
Officials identified the ship and the huge volume of fuel it will definitely explode in the process of friction with the atmosphere and 7.5 tonnes of toxic fuel will burn completely in the air. As of now, no report of damage left by the satellite crashed into the soil.
Phobos-Ground ship was launched on 11.09.2011 with the ambition to reach the earth and bring about 200g of rock from a crater on the Martian moon Phobos. However, the propulsion of it was not working properly planned that the ship was sucked into the Earth's orbit and crashed two months later.
According to NASA, said Russia has failed 17 times larger spacecraft studying Mars since they deployed in 1960. Failure of the board Phobos-Ground once again push the "Dream of Mars" by the Russians out further.
