A woman in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province (China) has been sentenced to five years in prison for acts of cutting off the penis of a new 5-month-old son, just because the mother is too longed for a child daughter.

Sheet Jinling reported today, the mother Xiao Meng (23) gave birth to her son last month Yaya 3 / 2011.Her husband and her mother recalled, after Yaya was born, Xiao Meng often muttered: "I wish it was a girl."
He husband said his wife often slapped and strangled the child. However, he thought that his wife suffered from depression after giving birth should not feel too worried.
