Electric motorcycle called the Citi ek'O urban Technologies is the car with maximum speed up to 110 km / h and 100 km operating range for each charge.
Company-old fledgling Citi Technologies (established 2009) has introduced an electric car design is quite similar to the PCX 125 cc scooter from Honda. The car is named ek'O, again made from a special synthetic material with environmentally friendly company which is 20% reduction in weight and manufacturing costs compared with conventional models other.
In particular, only the entire body is assembled from 15 different departments, instead of about 50 parts as the traditional scooter. Particularly, the chassis is made from synthetic materials from bark of a tree has been patented for Citi Private Technologies.
Thanks to mass 7.4 kWh lithium battery, the electric motor can ek'O capacity of 11kW with torque of 85 Nm. Its maximum speed is 110 km / h, 110 km range operation. It takes about eight and a half hours to fully charge electric cars (which takes 2 hours to recover 80% power). Weight of the car is named ek'O 173 kg (including battery weight is 75 kg).
With the support of the French government, Citi Technologies hopes to officially sell electric cars have power equivalent to a 125 cc motorcycle from the beginning in 2013 with prices around 5000 Euro.
