Smartphone ever leaked the name Nozomi Sony has officially been launched at CES 2012 under another name, Xperia S.
Sony Xperia S is equipped with 4.3 inch screen, HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixel). Highlights include dual-core processor speed of 1.5 GHz, 1GB RAM. This model has only two choices of 16GB and 32GB of memory with no expansion slot.
At the back Xperia S is a 12 megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor, while the front has a 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls.
Despite a strong configuration, Xperia S still running the old operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Sony is also not yet announced plans to upgrade to version 4.0 Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Sony Xperia S is available in two colors silver and black, is expected to begin sales in the quarter I/2012. Price of this model have not been disclosed.
