Hyundai Elantra and Range Rover Evoque has been honored at the Detroit auto show, held on 9 / 1 to 23 / 1, with the title of Car and Truck of the Year .

The award was voted by 50 automotive journalists from prestigious U.S. and Canada - representing magazines, newspapers, websites, television and radio. The criteria used to evaluate and awarded the title include: innovation, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for the car to the dollar.
The end result, Elantra received 174 points, far behind rivals Volkswagen Passat is 161 points 155 points and Ford Focus. In the truck segment, Evoque won 254 points, beating rivals behind the Honda CR-V with 112 points.
Ranger Rover Evoque.
This is the 2nd throne Hyundai won car of the year at the Detroit auto show. The first was with Genesis in 2009 models. Last year, General Motors won car of the year with the Chevrolet Volt sedan.Particularly, this Range Rover is the first car brand crowned Truck of the Year at the event.
