ASEAN logo for cambodia"s asean chairman in 2012
Cambodia launched its official website of ASEAN chairmanship www.asean2012.mfa.gov.kh on December 30 to resume work from Indonesia.
Indonesia handed over Asean chairmanship to Cambodia, which pledges to continue to intensify efforts aimed at building a rule based, people-oriented and fully integrated Asean community 2015, its website said.
It added: the secretary general of ASEAN expressed his utmost support to Cambodia in continuing the works of ASEAN and in implementing its priorities set for 2012 under the theme 2012 under the theme of “one community, one destiny”.
It said: The ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) Retreat will be convened at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Hotel and Grand Soluxe Angkor Palace Resort & Spa, Siem Reap province, Kingdom of Cambodia, from 10-12 January 2012.
