Bentley Continental equipped with V8 engine block has just been officially unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show 2012, for a capacity of up to 507 hp, maximum torque of 660 Nm achieved.
Today (10 / 1), two samples of the new Bentley Continental GT coupe and Continental GTC convertible model was officially unveiled, owning a V8, 4.0L twin-turbo. Block V8 engine produces a maximum capacity of 507 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions / min, maximum torque is 660 Nm.
Combined with the automatic transmission 8 granted, the new Bentley Continental is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in 4.6 seconds (the coupe) and 4.8 seconds (the convertible), the maximum speed is 303 km / h. In particular, the new engine block of Bentley also set a new standard of fuel economy and reduce CO2 released to the environment, for a range of up to 800 km for a refueling.
Bentley's new engine block also incorporates many advanced technologies such as direct fuel injection, high pressure, low-friction platform, program management and recovery of heat energy.
