Compared with 2010, the list of 10 best-selling cars in the U.S. have changed dramatically, with the rise of American cars, and it is opposed to the decline of Japanese cars.
Ford F-Series models continue to be the most popular U.S. customers last year.
Occupying two first place is still familiar names Ford F-Series and Chevy Silverado, with sales of 584,917 and 415,130 respectively vehicles, up respectively 10.7% and 12.2% from a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Camry continues to maintain No. 1 in passenger car segment, and No. 3 on the list. However, Honda Accord, Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic are unable to keep the position as last year, the Civic is not even in the top 10. An important part in the downfall of Toyota and Honda are badly hit by the earthquake and tsunami in March, as well as severe floods in Thailand later this year.
Japanese carmaker Nissan remainder is not affected much from natural disasters has risen to the position 4 of the Altima model.
