Suicide bombing which took place inside a Sunni Muslim shrine in Baghdad, killing at least 28 people were killed and wounded 30 others.

According to BBC , the attack took place when people are praying in Umm al-Qura church in western Baghdad. This mosque is the largest Sunni city. AP quoted officials said that Khalid al-Fahdawi MPs were among those killed by the attack. The bombing took place on the last day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan by Muslims.
"A suicide bomber stormed the main temple area and exploded himself," Qutaiba al-Falahi, a spokesman for the organization said. To date, no groups claimed responsibility for the attack.
Recently, a spate of violence across Iraq, though much reduced since the peak years of 2006-2007.Thursday 6 weeks ago, there were at least 13 people were killed in a series of attacks across the country Iraq, including in Basra, Falluja and Baghdad.
