SKT's aggressive move in the LTE market has been remarkable
When it first began LTE service, it was disregarded by customers because smartphones that can use LTE were not launched. Now that smartphones that support LTE like the Galaxy S2 LTE, HTC Radar, Optimus LTE, Pantech Veta LTE, and Galaxy S2 HD LTE were launched in sequence, many people joined the world of LTE. Since LTE phones equip themselves with the best specifications, customers could not help but itch for them. From the customers' perspective, it is a positive fact that their range of choices has broadened because of the variety of LTE phones being launched.
Also, unlike other telecommunication companies, SKT focused on the ecosystem of android phones as the smartphone era began to take off, LTE phones that combined with its specialized services are nothing but attractive.
Last month, I finally got the Veta LTE, so I'd like to take this time to talk about the Pantech Veta LTE that has amazing performance. As I said before, Pantech's smartphone has something that makes me anticipate. Personally, I used Vega X and Vega Number 5 for over a month, and I also used Vega Racer for a long time.Pantech's smartphones are always equipped with specifications that lead the market, and the optimization is pretty good, so a customer who uses Pantech's smartphone for the first time is surprised by its performance that is better than the expectation. For smartphone, optimization is considerably important because it influences the performance of the phone and the battery.

Vega LTE shows the best specs that a smartphone can have. Its size is 4.5 inch, geared with a 1280 X 800 display. It supports 335ppi (pixel per inch), showing the highest number in LTE phones. After iPhone 4, ppi value became an important standard. The resolution is clearer as ppi increases. Especially for LTE phone, since the functions that need clear resolution such as video call is specialized because of the fast internet speed, ppi became more important in LTE phone. It shows fast speed because it is geared with 1.5GHz Dual core and DDR2 1G RAM. Until now, it was a bit of pity that Pantech's smartphone battery capacity was small. But Vega LTE's bettery capacity of 1830mAh does not seem insufficient. I will talk about other specs of the Vega LTE later on.
Vega LTE design
The design of the Vega LTE design is similar to Vega Number 5, and the general design is like Pantech's product. The best strength of Pantech's smartphone is that it is launched in both white and black. Smartphones look pretty in white color. Since women users are rapidly growing, this Pantech's launching strategy is now a driving force to make them look good in the smartphone market.
At the top of the front side of the Vega LTE, illumination and proximity sensors are located, and the front camera is on the right side. Since the video call is one of the best practical uses of LTE phones, it is a bit pity that the front camera is on the right side because the user look slanted during the video call.
At the bottom of the Vega LTE, there are menu button, home button, and back button. The home button consisted of SKY is now the symbol of Pantech smartphone. These buttons work well without errors. Now, there is no need to talk about the feel of buttons.
The silver frame that covers Vega LTE is well matched. Not only to women users, but also to men users, Vega LTE white model looks attractive.
On the upper side, there are earphone jacks and accessory hook. Most of hooks are absent in smartphones such as Galaxy S2. But it is resolved in the Vega LTE.
On the left side of the Vega LTE, there are volume button, and favorite button, and micro USB port. The general locations of the buttons are passable.
On the right side of Vega LTE, there are on/off slim button. The thickness of the Vega LTE is 9.35mm. It is thinner than other LTE phones that other companies launched including LG and Samsung. It is a minute difference, but this is very sensitive in the actual feel of grip. Moreover, since it is 4.5 inch size, the general size of smartphone increases, and its big size could work as a disadvantage in using the phone because of the discomfort.
It seems that the Vega LTE tried hard to produce comfortable feel of grip with the thinnest thickness. Vega LTE's motion awareness function and UI
My personal reason for having an interest in Pantech's smartphone is because it endless applies software function along with UI.
The new technology that is applied to the Vega LTE is the motion sensor function. When the motion sensor is turned on, certain functions of application programs such as music, gallery, message, and SKY Book as well as a phone call with hand movements to left and right. At the official promotion video of Vega LTE that was introduced at the same time as the launching of the Vega LTE, the person in the video moved her hand when she received a phone call while washing dishes and dancing. Pantech is planning to improve the motion sensor function so that users can use more various functions. I wonder to what extent Pantech motion sensor would go with the motion sensor.
Another strength of Vega LTE is FUX UI. For UI, HTC or Samsung's UI are receiving fairly good reviews, and as the actual Galaxy S2 user, I am satisfied with UJI. But FUX UI of the Vega LTE is improved more centered on the users than the previous smartphone.
It is a place where the Vega LTE users can feel pride.
On the locked screen, the user can make a phone call, send a message, play music, and go on internet or SNS at the same time.
This is the setup screen that can be only seen at Pantech's smartphone. It allows the users to setup sound, volume, display, or the calls without going into two steps. As a characteristic of a smartphone, users tend to play with setups a lot, so it is convenient.
Also, the easy setup that enables the setup at one by lowering the upper bar is where we can see that Pantech considered Vega LTE users. In general, although the easy setup is possible, it ends at the first row. The Vega LTE enables more various easy setups. It is very convenient.
If the user zooms in at the home screen, he or she can check all the pages and go to the desired page. But this is what all android phones have.
The Vega LTE utilizes various widgets. Since most of the widgets have similar function, I omitted the part. One noticeable widget is SKY Ranking, which makes a list of the number that is called the most.
There were some considerable improvements to the application home. Each menu can be categorized because it has names. It is composed in a way that it is easy to find the application because it categorized the applications by group, name, and the order of download.
There are many areas to examine in the Vega LTE's FLUX UI. The aforesaid parts are only a part of the whole. Users can compose their own theme, and it helps the users to decorate one's own style in using various widgets and effects. If I get a time to go into details, I want to write about the Vega LTE's FLUX UI with more details.
According to current gossip, many seem to think that there's nothing to see in LG Electronics' Optimus LTEexcept the display. When the Optimus LTE was introduced, there was no presentation about the software, and it only stood negative next to Samsung''s AMOLED display, which brought antipathy. Compared to theOptimus LTE, the Vega LTE seems to stand more positive.
The Vega LTE is equipped with the newest version of the Android IS 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Because of Vega LTE's resolution, I am anticipating for its update to ice cream sandwich version.
Vega LTE's LTE speed
The Vega LTE is a LTE phone. The strongest attribute of a LTE phone is fast internet speed.
