Toyota Camry is exported to South Korea

Toyota has made the decision to export the produce Camry sedans in the U.S. in the Korean market.

"The thousands of Camry exports to Korea is an important development in the investment strategy to expand in North America as well as maintaining a stable job here," said Yoshimi Inaba, Toyota Chairman and CEO North America said.

New Camry exports to Korea are produced at Toyota plants in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is the combination of Toyota's largest production outside of Japanese territory, with approximately 7,000 employees and nearly 20,000 directly related jobs.

According to initial plans, the number of Camry exports to South Korea every year about 6,000 units.
