At least 11 people were killed when a concrete wall collapsed into residential areas in the island of Sulawesi in central Indonesia yesterday.
AP quoted South Sulawesi police chief, said Usman Johnny Waenal 7m high wall had collapsed and buried some houses yesterday, in a residential area in Makassar, Sulawesi's largest city.
Usman said rescuers had found 11 bodies, including a 7-year-old boy buried under piles of red bricks.8 people injured were taken to hospital with cuts, broken bones and head injuries.

Witness Adi (28) is in the house when the wall collapses. He shocked said: "I heard a strange noise and the floor of my house shaking. I immediately ran out and saw many houses along the canal walls were poured on top. "

Last week, a bridge also collapsed in the crowded island of Borneo, Indonesia, killing at least 21 people dead and dozens are still missing.
