Oracle continues to develop Java

Today (13/10), Oracle announced plans to develop Java platform, Java SE standard version with a roadmap to develop a version for Mac OS X operating system with updates to Java SE version 8.

Oracle is releasing the technology trial version of the Java SE 7 and Java FX 2.0 on Mac OS X, with plans to release Java SE 7 on Mac OS X for developers in the next quarter and II/2012 connections by the end of the summer edition in 2012. OpenJDK Community Development chaired the Java SE 7 JDK on Mac OS X and 8, ie the implementation of Java SE sample 8, with contributions from Oracle as well as companies, individual researchers and other.

The proposed features of JDK 8 include:

- Completion of the project focused HotSpot / JRockit JVM, including improvements in device performance and a Java Flight Recorder second generation.

Oracle is performing Java SE and the technology involved in 136 events at JavaOne 2011 general sessions, the BOF and all the visual Lab, as well as exhibition halls at JavaOne.
