Stones, petrol bombs were constantly throwing the extremist elements of the riot police, tear gas while, rubber clubs ... the police used to disperse the crowd, who control the extremists.

Thousands of youths took to the road in the capital Athens in response to movement against the austerity policies of the government, with the aim to save our country out of bankruptcy. They smashed the marble stone flooring in Syntagma Square as a weapon to attack the police. The chase between police and protesters took place around squares and streets in the capital Athens. Grenades, tear gas was also used police to disperse protesters.
Schools as well as state agencies have closed since protesters, but said authorities are cutting measures to be applied urgently to save the country from bankruptcy.
The clash led the authorities to mobilize large numbers of police to ensure security. The serious scuffle occurred at least two policemen and two civilians were injured, 12 others arrested.
Train System, 400 flights to and from Athens airport has suspended operations. Athens Acropolis and other major museums are also closed to ensure safety.
