Thai Army Chief ordered Thai troops to seize Ta Krabey and Ta Moan temples on Monday or Tuesday

There are reports that the Thai Army Chief, Gen. Prayuth Chan-Ocha (pictured), had yesterday ordered Thai troops to seize the Cambodian temples of Ta Krabey and Ta Moan Thom at all cost, either on Monday or today, Tuesday 26th April.

Gen. Prayuth told Thai media that he had ordered the Thai commander of Second Army Region, Gen. Tawatchai Samutsakorn, to seize the two Cambodian at all cost, no later than Monday night or today, Tuesday.

Fierce fighting between the two sides began at 9 a.m yesterday and ended 3 a.m this morning, but no immediate news of casualty or the state of war, though the Cambodian side have claimed to have killed one Thai soldier.
