In the suburbs Sedlec, Kutna Hora town (Czech Republic), a church was built from the 14th century and is decorated entirely with human bones. In 1369, a pandemic that swept across the Sedlec dead and tens of thousands of bodies lying on the ground. Therefore, church leaders then decided to use human bones were dug up from the grave to decorate the church, to obtain land for burying others.
