On 7 / 10 last, President Brack Obama was officially nominated eight experts, including doctors, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, a Vietnamese-Americans, in key advisory positions.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung was nominated to the Advisory Committee of the American President Asia - Pacific.

Doctor, Doctor Nguyen Thanh Tung is currently a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he proceeds to treat patients with multi-ethnic and training clinicians.
He is currently Director of the role of health promotion projects Vietnamese community and a leading investigator of the research center and to raise awareness about cancer in Asian-American community at UCSF. In that role, he is responsible for health care research for Asian Americans.
Accordingly, he studied the development of breast cancer, cervical cancer screening and colorectal cancer and the harmful effects of smoking to Asian Americans.
He is also Chairman of the volunteers were Asian - Pacific American Cancer Society in California.
Through their contributions, in 2002, he was the American Cancer Society Award for the cause of health care and research to prevent cancer.
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung has a Bachelor of Science and Philosophy at Harvard University successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation at Stanford University, USA.
