Microsoft has sold 350 million copies of Windows 7

In a recent announcement, Microsoft said it has sold over 350 million copies of Windows 7 right within 18 months after release to date.

"We have carried out many improvements to bring the best experience for users with Windows 7," a Microsoft spokesperson said.

Microsoft Windows 7 has helped obtain 20% market share in late 2010. Windows 7's market share continued growth, while Vista drop below 10% and 50% less than XP.

In the first 3 months of release, Windows 7, sold 60 million copies, up to 15 months, the figure was 300 million. This means that Microsoft has sold over 20 million copies in a month right.

This was a huge success of Microsoft, when Vista sold 339 million copies within two years after launch.
